I’m a theatre-maker and facilitator making inquiring, playful and socially engaged performances. I have worked with schools and youth theatres, in prison and on university picket-lines, leading workshops and performances that promote creativity and self-expression. I also work in more conventional theatre spaces, making performances with an interest in interactivity and live-ness.
Most recently I’ve worked with a team of Academics and Science Communicators at SMASHFestUK creating the immersive experience ‘Space Plague’. Designed to engage young people in STEM subjects, participants joined real scientists in the SMASHFest ‘Emergency Response Team’, helping diagnose and develop a cure for the mysterious Space Plague.
I’m always looking to collaborate with other artists and activists – let’s chat!
“I could write for hours on the benefits of UNION, but mainly it has given me a broader perspective. As an emerging artist it’s really helped me understand the possibilities of this area of work, at a time when I was really unsure.”
