We warmly invite you to join us for a long weekend exploring and celebrating the role of elders in our society, and to spend time considering how you might see your own development at this stage of life in your work, family, and community.
UNION has built a strong reputation for creative development and activism, providing training for people at key times of transition in their lives.
UNION ELDERS is our first programme for community artists and social activists in their later lives. Whether you already see yourself as an elder or are contemplating what that means for your future, this gathering offers a chance to share insights and envision the next phase of life.
This is a a three-day programme for 20 participants will give you a chance to review your work to-date, celebrate your achievements and explore where next. We will use a rich mix of approaches to allow you to explore meaning, impact and legacy. Working individually and in groups, talking and writing, spending time in nature, using creativity, music and embodiment.
