We are very pleased to announce that the Paul Hamlyn Foundation have offered UNION a grant for four years to develop the Northern School of Creativity and Activism. That will include:

  • Training 3 new cohorts of participatory artists and social activists across the north of England (both early-career and mid-career)
  • Creating a community of learning across the north both for participants and for organisations involved in professional development across the creative activism sector

As part of their offer letter they explained:

The panel members are particularly pleased to support UNION because of the reflective nature of your organisations work, building on continuous evaluation to develop the work with a co-production ethos, as well as learning from your previous grants with the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

More soon but time now for a celebratory cup of tea and cake!
